Bap
(boiled rice) and Juk (porridge) |

Bap
is main food in Corea. When 2 or 3 handfuls of Rice with
appropriate quantity of water (covering the back of the
hand) are boiled to the point of hearing the sound, 'ddadak
ddadak', they become 'bap'. And much water makes rice into
'Juk'. |

Guk(soup)
is an essential dish when bap is served. Also there are
various kinds of guk(soup) including vegetables, seaweed,
meat, fish, etc. |

|
Jjigae,
which is similar to guk, is made from fermented soy bean
paste. It is usually spicy and hot. It is good to served
in a heated stone bowl, 'Ddukbaegi'. |
